We drove down to L.A. for the weekend to hang out with friends, which is why I've been so quiet. Was nice to see everyone, and one of our friends had a pool party and barbecue for the 4th, so we had some good eats and the pool felt great. We actually stayed with another friend, so we went back to her apartment, and were able to watch fireworks from her patio, that they set off at a park about half a mile away. It was a great view!

It's good to be home, though. I missed my furbabies, and they had eaten their way through all the dry food we left them, so they were glad to see us too, I'm sure. Far as I can tell, they were very good and didn't make any messes. Or I just haven't found them yet.
